Science activity

We did a science activity in school on Thursday about decomposition. We observed tomatoes and prawns in bottles attached to test-tubes filled with limewater. We had to watch them decompose (GROSS!)and watch for the appearance of the limewater as time passed. Days later, on Monday,we observed the limewater had turned slightly cloudy. There was also a pungent stench around the tomatoes and prawns(YUCK!).
